Today is the last Friday of July. Every year, the last friday of July is observed as SysAdmin Appreciation Day. The holiday was founded by Chicago system administrator Ted Kekatos, and the day exists to show appreciation for system administrators around the world. This day is dedicated to all the young men and women for all the efforts they put in to keep IT working for you – to keep your network open, secure, and running 24/7, to keep your websites accessible whenever you need them, and keep the mail coming in to your mailbox, just to name a few.
