I&#039;m trying to deploy UAG DirectAccess in my work environment and was banging my head for this error message. I used 2 consecutive private IP NATed to a public IP and I was hoping that things would work. I kept getting the same error and reading your blog was sobering for me. During my research to set up UAG DirectAccess I read about the need for 2 consecutive public IPs on the external interface of the UAG but I thought that I could use NAT to handle things.
