Windows Server 2008 R2 and Windows 7 have been released to manufacturing (RTM) yesterday. I was present at the Microsoft MGX in Atlanta, GA at the time of the release.

The worldwide consumer launch of Windows 7 will be on October 22, 2009. The worldwide business launch of Windows Server 2008 R2 and Windows 7 will be on November 9.

I have written many posts about the new features and how Windows 7 provides a fast, easy and secure operating system for the consumer, and a manageable, simplified and secure client operating system for the enterprise.
